LANDSCAPING HELP NEEDED

The Steven Leuthold Family Foundation generously gave us a grant to provide landscaping for our building. Cameron McCarthy Landscape Architects and Planning in Eugene donated their services to us, and we have a fabulous new landscape design that was created by Lauren Worland and Justin Lanphear.

This spring, we are going to start landscaping our grounds and are seeking donations of landscaping contractors, workers, and materials ranging from large boulders (and transportation of them) to native or drought-resistant trees and other plants. We also have locations for outdoor artwork related to dogs and cats. Please call 541-636-3324 or email us info@communityvet.org.

WITH COMPASSION & CARE

Community Veterinary Center was formed in 2004 by a collection of local animal welfare groups to serve the more than 17% of Lane County of residents who live below the poverty level (2009 statistics).

Some of our clients are homeless, some live in poverty.  Many are hard-working singles or families and many are newly homeless or impoverished.  All are emotionally attached to their animals whom they will not abandon, but they cannot afford extensive or even rudimentary medical treatment.  Our goal is to keep the animals healthy and productive so they can support their human families in their stressful situations.

We create a community of people all drawn together by our quiet love of animals – friendships and understanding that otherwise would not exist.  This is how animals make us better people; we think they deserve a life free from parasites, pain, disease and hunger.

Myrnie Daut and Congressman Peter DeFazio are our Capital Campaign Co-Chairs!CVC is supported by generous grants and the donations of hundreds of local residents as well as individuals from several other states.

We hope you’ll join us in that commitment, and help us make a difference in the lives of animals in Lane County and the people who love them. Click here to make a Donation.

Myrnie Daut and Congressman Peter DeFazio are our Capital Campaign Co-Chairs! We thank them for their support.
